Description

Grid Meister is a powerful tool for creating and managing order grids in NinjaTrader 8. Configure your grid, visually preview it on the chart in planning mode, and send live orders when ready. Gain full control over your trading with flexible settings and an intuitive interface.

Note

In the planning mode, the user can dynamically change the grid layout (Space key), as well as the distance between orders using the keys ↓, ↑, −, +. After setting the planned grid, the user can send orders using the Enter key.

Properties

General

  • Grid count [default: 5, range: 1–∞] — Number of simultaneous orders in the grid.
  • Order spacing calculation type [default: Fixed] — Method for spacing between orders (Fixed, Linear, Exponential, Fibonacci).
  • Quantity calculation type [default: Default] — Method for order quantity (Default, Linear, Exponential, Fibonacci).
  • Default price type [default: Indicator] — Base price for grid (Manual, Close, Open, Low, High, Indicator).
  • ATM template [default: None] — ATM template for position management.
  • Grid direction [default: Long drop] — Trading direction (Long drop, Long rise, Short drop, Short rise).
  • First order market [default: false] — Place initial market order.
  • Color planned orders — Color for planned grid orders.
  • Color planned MKT order — Color for planned MKT order.

Data Series

  • Input - using the Input parameter in the indicator based starting price building mode you can select any available data series of any available indicator to grid from that price, a simple example is the moving average from which the grid can be built.
  • Default price [default: 0, range: 0–∞] — Custom price for grid.
  • Bar offset [default: 0, range: 0–∞] — Bar index for price type.
  • Price offset (ticks) [default: 10, range: 0–∞] — Price offset in ticks.
  • Use recalculation grid base price [default: false] — Recalculate grid base price periodically.
  • Recalculation interval (bars) [default: 10, range: 1–∞] — Bars between recalculations.

Order Spacing

  • Order spacing (ticks) [default: 10, range: 1–∞] — Distance between orders.
  • Step [default: 5, range: 1–∞] — Fixed distance for Linear.
  • Multiplier [default: 2, range: 0.0001–∞] — Multiplier for Exponential.
  • Fibonacci start [default: 1] — Fibonacci start value.

Order Quantity

  • Default quantity [default: 1, range: 1–∞] — Default order quantity.
  • Increment [default: 1, range: 1–∞] — Quantity increment for Linear.
  • Quantity Multiplier [default: 2, range: 0.0001–∞] — Multiplier for quantity.
  • Quantity Fibonacci start [default: 1] — Fibonacci start for quantity.
